I’m trying to learn to stop apologizing for the time in between these web radio shows. The truth is, when it comes to scisosrkick, I’ve been preaching quality over quantity for nearly a decade. And the fact remains, the longer I’ve taken between Scissorkasts, the more likely I have more fantastic music to choose from. This episode is no exception, in fact, it is probably one of the best I’ve ever posted. A lucky combination of great bands releasing greater music, The Big Squeeze has a consistent sweetness that other Scissorkasts have eschewed in favor of more eclectic playlists. That’s not to say this one isn’t eclectic, but in my mind, the lucky 13 songs below represent everything I’ve been trying to do with this website from the onset. Creative, propulsive, and mostly instrumental new music with heart and built-in cinematic overtones to boot. Happy listening and please leave comments and share links with friends.
