[...] Welcome, dear blog reader, to another edition of New Music Friday (which is generally my most widely read post). You know how this works: clickthrough to the links and download the free music. Sync to your Zune, and off you go. First up this week, Dodge has two tracks from Aesop rock, as well as tour dates. Speaking of tour dates - are any readers in Seattle planning on going to the Cap Hill Block party? Drop a comment/email me - I’ll be there. There’s a Roz Bell dance remix over at Arjan Writes. Winning the award for strangest band name, Super Furry Animals have an MP3 over at GorillavsBear. And this week, Rock Insider rocks out with free music from 1990s, and two others. Jumping across the pond, Brooklyn Vegan has a track from Bat for Lashes. nice. More free music - ‘Picasso has one gem from The Broadway Hush. Aquarium Drunkard has 4 tracks: two from Bishop Allen, and two from Page France, as well as presenting their show at the Echo (LA) I love the Gray Kid - Music for Robots has an MP3. For fans of pop-punk, check out the music at this post at 3hive. Soul-sides takes us back to 69-70 with these two tracks. There’s always somebody Rocking Cleveland. This week, it’s The Mae Shi, with a free track. Scissorkick has a poignant, emotive track from Kim Hiorthoy (parental advisory explicit content) Ok, enjoy the free music and have a safe weekend everybody! [...]
