Love your critique of music blogs...very true.

I've been listening to Faux Pas for a couple of months now, and been really enjoying his music. He is getting a fair bit of airplay on Sydney radio at the moment - he certainly deserves it.

Worth mentioning that you can buy 'Entropy' and his previous EP for $25 from his website (price includes postage anywhere apparently!)

(and I haven't been paid to write this comment, I just think he is excellent and more people need to hear him!)

My first visit here and I'm lucky enough to stumble on a great selection like this. I haven't been able to stop listening to it.

I guess I'll be coming back.

don't worry Steve, the more people are making good stuff known the better things go ... and thanks to you and to Faux Pas for bringing this to our attention, it's fun stuff and very well done. made me go to his web site and check out some more things - I can recommend it. 'Dorothy's Fingers' is certainly psychedelic, I've not heard a tunr disappear down rabbit holes quite so entertainingly for a while. my only moan is that the bass is a bit too full-on for my home system, it seems to happen with the hip hop meets rock people like Blockhead or Ammoncontact. I will try on proper speakers Friday week when I play out next ... cheers from England ... A>

I agree about music blogs, though i am a fan, not a poster. Without these blogs, it would be harder for me to find new music...I still would, it would just take more reading and searching. SK is one of my top 5 fave mp3 blogs, and the only one i regularly go to for electronic, post-rock, etc. I heard the Changes yesterday on an old hearsay post, and I liked some of their songs a lot, particularly, "Her, You, and I". Like the guitar chords they play... anyways, thanks SK bloggers.
